Location:

Kettering / Thrapston

Pay: £18.00 Days / £19.50 Nights / £21 Sat / £22 Sun

Average shift length:10-12 hours

7-day operation(working week runs Sunday to Saturday)

AM shifts:typically start between
05:00-07:00

PM shifts:typically start between
16:00-19:00

Average of2 drops per shift, plus collections

Curtain-sided vehicles
- Will involve some handballing

Delivery area spans:

• North:up to Mansfield
• West:
  
  Wednesbury
• South:as far as Thatcham
• East:as far as Lowestoft

Deliveringcardboard packagingproducts

• Safely operate and drive HGV 1 (C+E) vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
• Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics team members
• Shifts are booked daily with shift confirmation times texted to you the day before

• Valid HGV 1 C+E licence
• Up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC Card
• Min 12 months HGV Class 1 C+E experience
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
