Weighbridge Operator

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Clerk / Site Checker to join our client at a busy waste recycling and landfill site. This is a key role supporting the smooth operation of the site, managing vehicle movements, and ensuring accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of lorry traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the weighbridge system to accurately record vehicle weights entering and leaving the site Check and verify documentation for incoming and outgoing loads Safely direct lorry drivers and site traffic Carry out site checks to ensure compliance with health & safety regulations Maintain accurate records and perform data entry Communicate effectively with drivers, site staff, and management

Working Hours:

Monday & Tuesday: 06:30 16:30 (10-hour shifts) Initial training period:
Monday to Friday (first couple of weeks) Overtime Overtime available depending on business needs Training Full training will be provided. Candidates must be available to attend Monday Friday training during the initial onboarding period. Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work in a busy, outdoor environment Basic IT skills for data entry and system use Previous experience in a similar role or waste/recycling industry (desirable but not essential)
