Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Collections and Deliveries (Manual handling required)

Location: Liverpool

Pay Rate: £18.33 to £27.50 per hour (overtime after 40 hours)

Shifts: Monday to Friday – start time 09:00

Driver Type: Class 1 Driver

Experience: 12 months commercial driving – essential

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Liverpool to work with our client, one of the UK's largest parcel distribution companies.

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle
• Collections and deliveries – manual handling required (loading and unloading)
• Delivery confirmations using handheld scanners and devices
• Standard route paperwork
• Pre‑ and post‑route vehicle checks

You must have a UK driving licence with the provision to drive a Class 1 vehicle and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving. You must also have a UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional driver, you should have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with visas) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
