Minibus Driver - Liverpool Summary As our Minibus Driver , you will provide visitors from around the world with first class customer service. You’ll be responsible for transporting them to and from one of two pick up points, and taking them to the childhood homes of Sir Paul McCartney & John Lennon, where our tour guides will give them a fascinating insight into the birth of the Beatles.

Internally, you'll be known as a 'Tour Driver (Liverpool Properties)'. Please read the full role profile attached to this advert, as a D1 category on your valid licence and an up to date PCV licence are essential for this role. Salary: 7,950 per annum ( 13.25 per hour) Contract Duration:

Working Hours:

600 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. The role offers a minimum commitment of 2–3 shifts per week , with each shift lasting 7.5 hours. Weekend working forms part of the rota, and additional hours may be available to provide holiday and absence cover.

If you have any questions about the role, please contact andre What it's like to work here Reporting to our Welcome and Service Assistant Manager, you’ll work as part of our small team of staff at the Beatles’ Childhood Homes.

You'll meet visitors from across the globe and help them enjoy a memorable day at one of Liverpool's most iconic attractions. What you'll be doing Working closely with colleagues at Speke Hall, you will play a key role in transporting visitors departing from South Parkway Station in the morning and Speke Hall in the afternoon. The timetable is designed to include regular breaks throughout the day, providing a balanced and manageable working pattern, helping to deliver an excellent visitor experience.

You’ll be responsible for daily checks and cleanliness of our mini bus each day, as well as some simple reporting of passenger figures on a pre-printed document. Don’t worry about being a tour guide: your role is to safely drive the bus and to make our visitors feel welcome. It’s a really fun role with lots of chances to chat to visitors from around the globe.

Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you if you have: A full, valid UK driving licence with a D1 category and an up-to-date PCV licence is essential A good knowledge of the Highway Code and driving safely The ability to provide our visitors with a world class service, full of enthusiasm, dedication and a willingness to learn Friendliness and confidence interacting with the public Ability to stick to a timetable and work within our operational guidelines and procedures The package The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
