HGV Class 2 Dray Driver - Liverpool

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Dray Driver to join our well-established client based in Liverpool, Merseyside
.

This is an excellent opportunity offering competitive rates of pay, Monday to Friday working, and the potential to secure a permanent position with a leading company in the industry.

This role would be suitable for candidates with experience as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.

Rates of Pay:
  • £16.50 per hour
Shift Pattern:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time: 06:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 2 Dray Driver
, you will work:

  • Completing deliveries to pubs, restaurants and licensed premises across the North West
  • Carrying out between 20 and 30 deliveries per shift
  • Safely loading and unloading products at customer locations
  • Driving a Category C vehicle safely and efficiently at all times
  • Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Providing excellent customer service when delivering to clients
Essential

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Dray Driver
, you will need:

  • A minimum of six months' experience driving Category C vehicles
  • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • A valid CPC qualification card
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences
  • No DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 endorsements
  • No major endorsement codes
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to undertake the physical aspects of dray delivery work
Desirable

Experience:
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience within the dray industry
  • Experience delivering to pubs, bars, restaurants or hospitality venues
Training:
  • First-day driving assessment
  • Additional training provided where required
  • Ongoing industry-related training and support
