As demand grows, we're expanding our transport division with professional and reliable Class 1 Haulage Drivers.

We are seeking experienced and qualified Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our transport team. This role involves delivering and collecting heavy plant and crane components across the UK, with a focus on safety, punctuality, and exceptional service.

Experience with abnormal loads and securing heavy equipment is preferred.

PLEASE NOTE:

Applicants must have proven experience transporting crane ballast and counterweights. This is a specialist role, and we’re looking for a driver who can support the expanding and technical needs of our business.

The person must have the ability to drive John Sutch Cranes plant and vehicles as well as haulage.

• Proven experience in driving crane ballast and counterweights
• Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of goods
• Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks and report any issues
• Maintain accurate delivery records and compliance with tachograph regulations
• Work closely with our lifting and logistics teams for smooth site coordination
• Represent the company professionally at all times

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience with heavy haulage or plant transport is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of load securing and driving regulations
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Commitment to safety and compliance
