Driver​/Storeman

Eyre & Elliston Ltd is one of the UK’s leading independent electrical wholesalers with 60 branches nationwide.

We currently have a vacancy for a Van Driver/Storeman at our branch in Liverpool

The main responsibilities of the position involve:

The preparation of daily, multi drop deliveries in and around the Liverpool and surrounding area utilising our own modern transit style vans

Ensuring deliveries are accounted for and signed for whilst maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude to our customers.

Keeping the company vehicle clean and ensuring it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive.

Assisting with general warehouse duties when deliveries are complete – this may involve some lifting of heavy products or parcels from time to time.

Advising the Branch Manager of any relevant information relating to deliveries or customers requirements.

Clean driving licence and minimum 2 years driving experience.

Adaptable attitude to get around the traffic challenges of the day.

Flexibility in terms of some early starts/finishes.

Good communication skills and able to get on well with other team members.

Reliable and good work ethic.

Able to develop good rapport with customers.
