About the Role:
Justteachers is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work full-time in a primary school in Liversedge. This is a long-term supply position supporting pupils across the school from ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils to engage with learning, adapting tasks where needed.
- Help manage behaviour and emotional regulation using positive support strategies.
- Build positive, trusting relationships to promote confidence and engagement.
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement behaviour and learning plans.
- Support pupils during challenging situations, maintaining a calm and consistent approach.
- Promote inclusion, safety, and positive behaviours in line with school policies.
- Uphold safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Previous experience in a school-based support role.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
- Patient, reliable and nurturing approach.
- Ability to provide two education-based references.
