About The roleWorking for?our subsidiary company? Sparks Teaching Services a s an Associate Lecturer in Science you will provide support on a specified module or modules, including the preparation and delivery of Lectures, Workshops and Practical Sessions. Experience of successfully delivering vocational science would be advantageous for this role.
Main Responsibilities- Formal scheduled delivery of learning and teaching
- Preparation of teaching materials
- Assessment and moderation
- Curriculum and assessment design as appropriate
- Responsibility for administration relevant to the post
- Student Support
- Independent Studies supervision
- Attendance at Meetings e.g. Programme
- Committees and Subject/Team Meetings
- Participation in Continuous Professional Development
- Participation in student monitoring and reporting, course review and evaluation process.
- Participation in quality assurance and controls procedure
As the successful candidate, you will be offered an hourly rate of between £13.72 - £20.93 depending on duties performed. Please note this is a zero hour contract.
