Overview

Team Leader - Liversedge role at Lifeways Group. The Team Leader is responsible for supporting a team of support workers to ensure that excellent services are delivered to individuals we support. This is a rewarding supervisory role, with formal and informal mentorship and role modelling to supervise each Support Worker on an ongoing basis.

DBS paid for by Lifeways is available. Position is permanent.

Responsibilities
  • To work with the registered manager in a residential care setting, ensuring that systems and standards are maintained to a high quality.
  • To ensure compliance with all external regulatory standards.
  • To provide support and supervision to support workers.
  • To deliver person-centred services to all people using the service and promote positive behaviour support at all times.
  • To ensure individuals living at Greenland’s View are supported to achieve goals and have a good quality of life.
  • To promote and support the health and safety of both people using the service and support staff.
  • To ensure that staff actions support care, protection and well-being of those served.
  • To develop own knowledge and practice relative to continuous service improvement.
  • To ensure key records are maintained.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 and/or minimum of three years’ experience within the learning disability or mental health sector.
  • Minimum of one year of management or supervisory experience.
Personal Attributes & Skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to shift plan.
  • Organised with the ability to meet deadlines and fulfil obligations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sympathetic and person-centred approach to service delivery.
