• Support the school’s vision and implement strategies to achieve it.
• Teach an engaging, progressive English curriculum to a mixed‑ability student body.
• Engage pupils in learning a high quality educational experience.
• Provide personalised support to all learners through the wider support team.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive environment that promotes respectful learning.

• Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland

• Experience teaching in a comprehensive school is desirable.
• Commitment to the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 – candidates must join the PVG Scheme or attend a PVG update check.
