Teachers of the Midlothian Digital Campus will provide a high‑quality student experience through the planning and delivery of an Advanced Higher course. Teachers will deliver the curriculum via synchronous online teaching and independent study resources, and will receive professional learning in digital tools to support pedagogy. Teachers will be supported by the Deputy Head Teacher of the Digital Campus in all matters relating to course delivery.

Pre‑employment checks and requirements for teaching positions:

• Medical screening
• Two written references (one must be from your most recent/current employer)
• Verification of original qualifications and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
• Registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS) for permanent posts
• Satisfactory PVG check for Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007

The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme as a Full Membership (£59) or to have a PVG Scheme Record Update (£18) before commencing employment. The fee will be repaid via salary deduction over the specified pay periods.
