Early Years Class Teacher – Worksop
Are you a nurturing and dedicated Early Years Class Teacher seeking flexible, temporary ongoing opportunities in Worksop?
Academics are working with supportive primary schools and early years settings across Worksop who are looking for an inspiring Early Years Class Teacher to lead learning within Nursery or Reception classrooms.

Pay: £130 – £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE – no umbrella company fees)

As an Early Years Class Teacher in Worksop, you will take responsibility for delivering creative and structured lessons in line with the EYFS framework. This Early Years Class Teacher role in Worksop involves planning engaging activities that promote curiosity, independence and early academic development.
The Early Years Class Teacher will support pupils’ communication, social skills and emotional wellbeing while creating a positive classroom culture. Working in Worksop schools, you will collaborate closely with teaching assistants and parents to ensure consistent progress.
To work as an Early Years Class Teacher in Worksop primary schools, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
For nursery-based roles, Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is required.
- Plan and deliver high-quality EYFS lessons
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Support early literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Work collaboratively with support staff
- Build positive relationships with families
- Maintain safeguarding standards
- QTS or EYTS qualification
- Experience teaching within Early Years
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Caring and adaptable teaching style
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
