• Servicing and calibrating equipment for our won hire fleet and customer‑owned equipment, including where relevant carrying out services at customer premises
• Competently carrying out technical demonstrations on the company’s full range of hire products
• Supplying regional support on the specialist range of equipment that is operated from the central support facility at the HQ in Chesterfield
• Providing telephone technical support both internally and externally
• Delivering first‑class customer backup including attending breakdowns, providing onsite technical support and training, carrying out site audits and providing feedback to customers and supervisors

This is a full‑time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.30 am – 4.30 pm or 8 am – 5 pm.

• A proven mechanical engineering/mechanics background
• Electronics, hydraulics and component fault‑finding background/experience
• Flexible disposition
• Aptitude to learn quickly
• Ability to work unsupervised
