Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer ready to take on a hands-on role where your technical expertise will keep operations running at their best?

We're currently looking for Electrically-biased Maintenance Engineers experience working within FMCG environments to join our client in the West Lothian area.

Shift pattern:
Rotation 1:
Mon – Fri, dayshift
Rotation 2:
Tue – Sat, dayshift

Responsibilities in your new role as Maintenance Engineer

As a key Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of critical production equipment.

Your role will involve:

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment.

* Diagnosing and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.

* Fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems.

* Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects.

* Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient professional.

You will have:

* Time-served Electrical Engineer or recognised engineering qualification.

* 18th Edition Certification

* Experience with in a UK-based manufacturing, production, industrial, or FMCG environment.

* Strong electrical fault-finding skills.

* Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
