Hours:

40 hours per week | Permanent | Livingston

We are looking for a Vehicle Examiner to join our Engineering Team to carry out routine examinations, in accordance with engineering SOPs and DVSA testing requirements in an efficient and timely manner ensuring all vehicles comply with and always exceed minimum DVSA and company standards.

This is a permanent role consisting of day shift 40 hours per week.

What Will You be Doing?
  • To examine vehicles to comply with and exceed minimum DVSA standards at all times
  • To provide Supervisors with the necessary accurate information to ensure that performance indicators are being achieved
  • To audit vehicles for MOT presentation
  • To provide Supervisors with information concerning reoccurring faults/defects
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
  • To ensure that all company policies relating to vehicle condition presentation and standards criteria are used at all times when assessing defects
  • To take all responsible steps to staying informed and up to date with current legislation relating to Vehicle Inspectorate MOT standards and Categorisation of Defects.
