Overview
We are looking for someone who can visit two to three times a week for up to a maximum of 10 hours per week in the afternoon in order to assist our young daughter.
Responsibilities- Engaging with our daughter and developing a trusting relationship with her
- Assistance with showering
- Assistance with providing medicines
- Taking our daughter out for a walk
- Organising her supplies
- Support with gastrostomy feeding
- General assistance with some household work
- Experience in care work, particularly supporting disabled children
- Experience with ceiling and mobile hoists to move the daughter in and out of her wheelchair (preferred)
- Willingness to join or membership in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
- Female candidates only, genuine occupational requirement
The role is for up to 10 hours per week, with hours to be discussed rate of pay is £14.24 per hour.
