As a Relief Housekeeping Assistant with Cross Reach, you’ll play an important part in daily life for older people, helping keep our home clean, safe and welcoming. Your work will support comfort, dignity and wellbeing, making a real difference to residents every day. This flexible role suits people looking for work that fits around other commitments while still feeling meaningful.
What Your Day Could Involve- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and shared areas to a high standard
- Helping residents keep their personal spaces comfortable and well cared for
- Working alongside a friendly and supportive team
- Supporting new colleagues to learn housekeeping routines
- Following Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
- Taking part in training and team meetings when required
You take pride in doing a job well and understand how important a clean, welcoming environment is for older people. You’re reliable, considerate and happy to help where needed. No formal experience is required, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Experience in a care or hospitality setting is an advantage.
You have basic computer skills, are a member of the PVG Scheme, and are comfortable working within Cross Reach’s Christian ethos, helping to create a culture of respect, kindness and community.
