• Conduct site inductions for all new employees, contractors, and visitors
• Carry out regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Develop, review, and update health and safety policies and procedures
• Prepare and implement risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
• Monitor compliance with current health and safety legislation and company policies
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports as required
• Provide guidance and advice to site management and staff on all health and safety matters
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across all operations
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented and followed through

• Proven previous experience in a Health & Safety Officer role within construction or facilities management
• Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
• Experience conducting inductions, audits, and risk assessments
• Ability to develop and update health and safety policies
• Experience preparing detailed incident and accident reports
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent preferred)
