Senior​/Lead Pricing Engineer; Python, ML, AI

We’re looking for a couple of talented Pricing Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of how we price risk. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, machine learning, and applied AI, and is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data and models into robust, scalable pricing solutions.

You don’t need prior experience in insurance to succeed here. What matters is your strength in Python, your experience working with ML and AI-driven systems, and your ability to build reliable, well-engineered solutions that stand up in production.

• Hands-on industry experience in Software Engineering and/or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, including the design and implementation of complex pricing algorithms and underwriting logic.
• Practical experience integrating AI-assisted tooling into engineering workflows, including the use of LLM-based tools via IDEs or APIs for code development, test generation, validation, and analysis, with a solid understanding of prompt design, output evaluation, and risk controls.
• Strong experience working with Azure cloud environments, version control systems (e.g. Git/Git Hub), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation techniques.
• Experience working in Agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, BDD, TDD, or Extreme Programming.
• Demonstrated ability to identify automation opportunities and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Proven experience managing complex projects and leading teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with the confidence to propose and drive technical improvements.
• Experience in people management, mentoring, and coaching team members.
• Proven ability to positively influence team dynamics and drive skills development.
