We are looking for a skilled and passionate Campervan Technician to join our Edinburgh team, working with the UKI & Nordics Regional Team. Your primary responsibility is to maintain our fleet at the highest standards, ensuring customers can embark on unforgettable journeys.
Responsibilities- Conduct systematic inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes, including:
- Preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Light bodywork and component replacement (light bulbs, windows, side mirrors).
- Spare‑parts substitution and appliance troubleshooting.
- Maintain relationships with external partners.
- Coordinate interventions with suppliers and regional teams.
- Keep vehicle information systems updated.
- Move vehicles to/from vendors, parking, or other depots.
- Maintain depot equipment and spare‑part inventory.
- Support daily depot operations:
- Prepare vehicles and equipment for customers.
- Assist with reservations, welcoming guests and check‑ins/out.
- Receive and store shipments, register consumption and new orders.
- Maintain depot equipment and consumables.
- Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or a similar automotive program.
- At least 1+ year of hands‑on mechanical and electrical repair experience (campervan experience a plus).
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Proficient in English with good communication skills.
