Our client, a well-established and expanding building services contractor, is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Chelmsford and will primarily involve overseeing all mechanical services within the commercial and retail sectors
. As the company continues to grow, there will be opportunities for the role to develop and expand into additional areas.

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of mechanical services across multiple commercial and retail projects
• Overseeing project planning, coordination, budgeting, and scheduling
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Ensuring full compliance with industry standards, health & safety requirements, and company procedures
• Providing technical guidance and support throughout all stages of project delivery
• Contributing to the ongoing development and progression of the mechanical division

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within commercial or retail environments
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, including HVAC and plumbing
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to grow alongside a developing business

• Circa £70,000 DOE
