CNC Machinist - 3 Shift Rotation

Monday to Friday (Early Finish Every Friday)

Salary: £38,400 rising to £39,200 after probation

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist on behalf of our client, a well‑established manufacturing company based in Livingston, operating within the Aerospace and Defense sector. This is a permanent role offering stability and career progression with a globally known company.

Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm (12.20pm Friday)

Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (12.20 – 6.40pm Friday)

Week 3: 10:00pm – 6:00am (6.40pm – 1am Friday)

We have opportunities for weekend only working if this is your preference.

• Setting and operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning)
• Loading programs and making tooling offsets
• Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
• Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
• Working to strict quality, safety and compliance standards
• Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department

• Time‑served CNC Machinist OR equivalent HNC qualification in Engineering
• Proven experience in a CNC machining environment ideally 2 years minimum
• Ability to work a 3‑shift rotating pattern
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc or Heidenhain
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• £38,400 salary, increasing to £39,200 after probation
