Working Hours:

3 shifts rotating (must be able to work all 3 shifts)

• Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm
• Sun-Thurs, 10pm-6am
• Mon-Fri, 2pm-10pm

Payrate: £14.52 per hour

Contract type: Full time, perm (paid weekly in arrears)

About the role:

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our wrapping machinery, contributing to the quality of our products while minimising production disruptions. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our packing production team.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with up to 40 team members per shift
• Operating high speed wrapping machines and checkweighers
• Checking codes and completion of daily production documentation
• Maintenance of hygiene and housekeeping standards and ‘clean as you go’ procedures
• Maintenance of quality standards procedures
• Maintenance of Health and Safety standards

Key Ingredients for suitable candidates include:

• Experience in operating machinery
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a must
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety protocols rigorously
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to support and train new team members once comfortable in the role
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Able to work on own accord, take ownership and be motivated to learn

Desirable skills:

• Experience operating wrapping machines (training provided)
