Production Operative
West Lothian
Temporary Contract - 12 Weeks
13.65 per hour plus enhanced rate for night shifts
Blue Arrow is currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in West Lothian.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a temporary role with full training provided.
Shift Pattern
37.5 hours per week on a rotating 3-shift pattern:
- Dayshift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Backshift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Night shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm - 6:00am
Pay Rates
- 13.65 per hour
- Additional 3.76 per hour for night shifts worked
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting production operations within a busy manufacturing environment
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Maintaining high levels of housekeeping and workplace organisation
- Handling materials and assisting with production processes
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to achieve operational targets
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing, production or warehouse experience would be advantageous
- Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual handling duties
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible approach and willingness to work rotating shifts
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
