Registered Veterinary Nurse – 12‑Month Fixed Term Contract

Join Vets for Pets' small animal practice in Livingston for an exciting fixed‑term contract (minimum 1 year) to cover maternity leave. The role is full‑time (36‑40 hrs/week) with 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 9am‑6pm, Sunday 10am‑4pm) and a flexible rota.

We operate in a refurbished facility in the Pets at Home store, featuring 9 consulting rooms, 3 operating theatres, on‑site laboratory testing and modern equipment including a Bear Hugger, incubators, and blood‑pressure machines.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse you will admit patients, monitor anaesthetics, recover and discharge them, and assist with theatre and patient preparation under the guidance of a Senior Veterinary Nurse.

• Good general nursing experience, ranging from newly qualified to experienced.
• Great customer‑service skills, cheerful, down‑to‑earth, and enthusiastic about animal welfare.
• Willingness to cover weekends and flexible working.
