Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Coffee House. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes that delight our customers. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to exceptional food quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed diligently.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for daily meal service.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely meal delivery during service hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and tools.
