Almond Valley Care Home is a purpose built luxury care home in Almond side, Livingston, offering 66 beautifully designed bedrooms and delivering exceptional care in an elegant and welcoming environment.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.21 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided, Onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

The Role
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the smooth day to day running of the kitchen, helping to prepare and serve nutritious, well balanced meals for our residents. You will assist with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensure all areas of the kitchen are organised and safe.

You will receive and store deliveries correctly, follow food safety and infection control procedures, and support the Chef with meal service. Your role will help ensure residents enjoy a positive dining experience in a safe and welcoming environment.

What We Are Looking For

• A reliable and hardworking approach
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential as training will be provided
