The role Commvault has an outstanding career opportunity for a Subscription Renewals Team Lead to support customer retention, expansion, and subscription revenue growth. This role is responsible for managing a book of renewal business, engaging customers proactively, and executing renewals as a consultative sales motion. Additionally, the role will support and help drive members of the frontline renewals team. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer‑focused and has experience in technical or consultative selling.

The Subscription Renewals Team Lead partners closely with cross‑functional teams across the software lifecycle to support renewal and expansion execution. This role thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and maintains a strong focus on revenue‑generating activities, including vertical and horizontal expansion motions.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Maintain consistent and meaningful communication with customers throughout the renewal sales cycle to reinforce value and satisfaction.
  • Assess current and future customer environments, presenting multi‑year subscription renewal options that align with their evolving needs.
  • Identify and close additional opportunities during renewal discussions, ensuring that customers maximize their investment in Commvault solutions.
  • Support and collaborate with Subscription Renewal Representatives to deliver collective success within a defined territory
  • Deliver and champion consistent operating rhythms, accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline management using Salesforce and related tools
  • Partner cross‑functionally to support renewal and expansion execution and broader regional strategy
  • Navigate challenging situations with professionalism, creating actionable paths to resolution while securing stakeholder buy‑in.
  • Actively contribute to the development of new processes, embracing innovation within a results‑driven framework.
  • Execute all follow‑up actions from meetings to ensure customer satisfaction and successful deal closure.

What You Need to Be Ready
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in renewal sales or inside sales.
  • An energetic, self‑starting mindset with a consultative sales approach.
  • A proven ability to drive high transaction volumes and increase sales revenue.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage customers effectively.
  • A results‑driven attitude with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage territories, ensuring accurate forecasting and deal execution.
  • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) at a professional business level.
  • Exposure to sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and Command of the Message is a plus
