Applications Account Executive – Energy & Utilities Sector

What You Will Do- Develop a strategy and sales plan to address designated accounts
- Identify value proposition, whitespace, and proactively propose applications to accounts
- Grow partnerships to address client needs and create differentiators
- Marshalls internal and partner resources to conduct the sales process
- Facilitate and nurture senior‑management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle
- Maintain a depth of product knowledge of Oracle solutions in the E‑W market
- Research and communicate current industry trends, drivers, and opportunities
- Coordinate marketing activities to generate leads
- Deliver and coordinate customer presentations and demonstrations
- Build relationships at all levels with a proven track record
- Understand funding/financial challenges in the region and be familiar with financial impact execution

The primary duty is to sell Business Applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all application aspects. Participate in developing, presenting, and selling value propositions. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third‑party influencers.
QualificationsCareer level:
IC5. Extensive experience selling enterprise software, preferably within the Energy and Water Business Sector. Experience working in C‑suite to influence buying decisions and develop business cases. Proven ability to influence adoption and value of Oracle solution suite. Exemplary communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
