7.5t Driver

7.5T Driver - Livingston People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to join our well-established client, delivering sofas and furniture directly to customers' homes and flats. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver who is comfortable with the physical side of furniture delivery. The role involves working as part of a delivery team and will include heavy lifting and carrying sofas and furniture up and down stairs , so candidates must be comfortable with manual handling throughout the day.

Shifts:

4 days from 6, on a rota basis 6:00am - 6:00pm No Sunday working Rota provided in advance Rates of Pay: £16.84 per hour Benefits:

Your duties as a 7.5T Driver will include:
Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly Delivering sofas and furniture to customers' homes and flats Loading and unloading furniture from the vehicle Carrying sofas and heavy furniture items into customers' properties Manoeuvring furniture through doorways, hallways and staircases Carrying furniture up and down stairs where required Working as part of a delivery team to complete daily routes Providing a professional and friendly service to customers Completing vehicle checks and relevant delivery paperwork Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely at all times Essential

Skills:

The skills required as a 7.5T Driver are:
Valid UK Category C1 / 7.5T driving licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous 7.5T driving experience preferred Comfortable with heavy lifting Must be able to lift and manoeuvre sofas and heavy furniture items Comfortable carrying furniture up and down stairs Good communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual and professional Ability to work well as part of a team Desirable

Experience:

Previous experience in furniture delivery, removals, home delivery or a similar role would be advantageous. Training:
