People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Picker / Packers to join our well-established client based in Livingston, starting in November.
This is a temporary opportunity for approximately 3 weeks, working within a busy clothing warehouse. The role will involve picking and packing clothing items to customer orders using handheld scanners, so previous experience in a similar picking and packing warehouse environment is essential.
Please note:
candidates must be available for the full 3-week assignment. No holidays can be accommodated during this period. Part-time and student applications will not be considered.
- Dayshift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Backshift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Monday to Friday
- Starting November
- Approximately 3-week assignment
£12.90 per hour

As a Warehouse Picker / Packer, your duties will include:
- Picking clothing items accurately against customer orders
- Packing completed orders ready for dispatch
- Using handheld scanners to locate and process stock
- Checking items and quantities against customer orders
- Ensuring orders are picked and packed accurately
- Replenishing stock as required
- Working to daily productivity targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
Skills:
The skills required as a Warehouse Picker / Packer are:
- Previous picking and packing experience is essential
- Previous warehouse experience carrying out similar duties
- Previous experience using handheld scanners is essential
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work at pace and meet targets
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Available for the full 3-week assignment
- No holidays during the assignment
- Full-time availability only - no students or part-time availability
Experience:
- Previous experience within clothing, retail distribution, e-commerce, order fulfilment or high-volume warehouse environments would be advantageous.
- Site assessment and training on the warehouse processes and handheld scanning system will be provided.
