Electrician - Plant ; Nights

Position

Electrician - Plant 1 (Nights) at Foster Poultry Farms

$27.25 to $41.75 per hour (based on experience). Additional $1.00 per hour for hours between 7:00 pm–11:59 pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours between 12:00 am–4:59 am.

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment throughout the chicken plant as described in the electrician training book.
• Work from blueprints or schematics to perform maintenance, repair or install equipment.
• General cleaning and/or other crews if required and to maintain safety, housekeeping and sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Plant Electrician or scale technician, in a production environment is preferred.
• Must have knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have good English written and verbal communication skills.
• An electrical test will be administered and utilized to determine the skill level.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work from a ladder.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
