Operations & Warehouse Technician

Operations & Warehouse Technician I/II position available. Key responsibilities and qualifications include:

• Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record
• Forklift Certification or ability to obtain is required
• Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations 49 Part 192 is beneficial
• Understanding of utility process, policies, and standards is a plus
• Knowledge of electric and gas materials is preferred
• Experience with asset tracking, inventory processes are beneficial
• Knowledge of inventory procedures and warehouse safety
• Computer skills are essential (email, Microsoft office, material management systems)
• Experience with SAP platform and material management module is a bonus
• Possess record-keeping, filing, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and responsible to be working alone

Duties include establishing working relationships with vendors, material requests, quote process, and establishing agreement on pricing for materials. Perform materials and supplied requisition and procurement procedures to meet the demands of operations.

• Process material requests evaluating materials available and determining materials to order
• Create purchase requisitions
• Perform all tasks associated with receiving and shipping materials to/from vendors, suppliers, other warehouses and designated work sites
• Perform required inventory functions
• Gather, prepare, and stage materials for all field construction and maintenance work
• Process all daily SAP transactions for issues, returns, transfers and receipts via PC
