Junior Tax Accountant (Temp to Perm) – Livingston, NJ

Hybrid Schedule (3 Days Onsite)

Pay: $30 – $35.00/hr (flexible based on experience)

Conversion Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000

Our client, a growing organization, is seeking a Junior Tax Accountant to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an early‑career accounting professional to gain hands‑on experience in corporate tax, compliance, and general accounting while working closely with experienced leaders in a collaborative environment.

• Support the preparation and filing of state and local tax returns
• Assist with federal and state income tax filings and coordination with external auditors
• Help maintain business licenses and registrations
• Support payroll, sales, and property tax processes
• Assist with annual tax credit projects and related documentation
• Prepare account reconciliations and support monthly and year‑end close activities
• Research tax and compliance topics as needed
• Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Tax and Finance teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)
• 1–2 years of tax or general accounting experience preferred (internship experience welcome)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Word and Outlook
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional accounting environment
