Pediatric Anesthesiologist

RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey's largest integrated healthcare system, is seeking board‑certified / board‑eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologists for full‑time employment opportunities with call required at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.

We are pleased to offer a very competitive compensation package for full‑time general anesthesiologists: 8 weeks of PTO, 401(k) retirement, malpractice, life and disability insurance, and post‑call day off as an employee of the RWJ Barnabas Health Medical Group.

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is a 597‑bed academic medical center with a robust cardiac program, a kidney and pancreas transplant program, one of the busiest labor and delivery units in the state, and the only certified burn center in the state.

Successful candidates must be:

• ABA board‑certified or board‑eligible for new graduates
• Completed Anesthesiology residency
• Specialized training in anesthesia care of infants and children
• Willing to participate in required on‑call schedules
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ (candidates with a NJ license will be preferred at this time)

Newly graduating residents and fellows are encouraged to apply to this role. Please note that current trainees can earn up to $50,000 with the Resident / Fellowship stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of training!

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $575,000 to $650,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
