Essential Functions:

• Lead challenging and educational practice sessions.
• Instruct group in accordance with YMCA guidelines and rules of the game.
• Uphold, model, teach and put the four core values of the YMCA into action in all activities - everyday:
  Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
• Maintain professional appearance and report on time to all scheduled programs.
• Strive to develop the qualities of leadership, initiative and good judgment in all athletes.
• Develop habits that promote good health and sound training rules.
• Create a positive and nurturing learning environment to instill and encourage youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
• Adhere to the directions given by the head coach and assist at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience with teaching and/or playing pickleball.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations of pickleball.
• Flexible schedule
• Certifications:
  
  CPR, AED, Basic First Aid certification.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations preferred.
