School Psychologist; leave repalcement

We are seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative, and student-centered leave replacement School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services in support of students’ academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and other members of the student support team to promote student success and well-being.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of school-based psychological practices, assessment, consultation, and intervention. Candidates should be committed to using data-informed practices to identify student needs, develop appropriate interventions and supports, and contribute effectively to the evaluation and development of individualized educational programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills and will work effectively with colleagues and families to support diverse learners in an inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities may include conducting psychological evaluations and assessments, participating in eligibility and individualized education program meetings, providing consultation to teachers and support staff, contributing to intervention planning, and providing appropriate counseling or other student support services within the school setting.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for the appropriate New Jersey School Psychologist certification at the time of application. Previous experience working as a school psychologist in a school-based setting is preferred.

Salary will be determined in accordance with the Livingston Education Association (LEA) Agreement, which is available on the district website. Leave replacements will be placed at Step 1 of the BA, MA , 2MA or D guide, as indicated by educational records.
