Environment Sustainability Specialist – EHS

Livingston, NJ | Base pay range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability programs and recommend changes to close strategic gaps.
• Collaborate with business unit representatives to promote new product lines and uses for existing products that enhance sustainability.
• Provide input on carbon reduction strategies to senior management.
• Co‑ordinate memberships in the Alliance to End Plastic Waste and other sustainability organizations.
• Partner with customers and suppliers committed to green initiatives, completing customer questionnaires as needed.
• Maintain third‑party sustainability credentials and certifications such as Ecovadis, Sedex, and Operation Clean Sweep.
• Update sustainability information on the company website and social media, including quarterly updates to sustainable development reports.
• Develop communication materials that inform employees about the company’s sustainability goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and professional experience in sustainability, environmental management, or corporate social responsibility. Preferred experience in manufacturing, chemical, or energy sectors with direct involvement in GHG reduction, carbon credit programs, energy efficiency, or recycling projects.
• Demonstrated ability to apply engineering and environmental principles to develop practical sustainability solutions.
• Experience organizing SDG historical data and communicating that information to the public in alignment with UN SDGs.
