Monitors video EEG patients and identifies seizure activities. Perform neurophysiologic tests including EEGs and video-EEG initiation for adult and pediatric patients. • HS Diploma
• BLS certification required
• EEG Board registration

• Certified in Video Monitoring preferred
• Knowledge of neurodiagnostic tests preferred

• The EEG Technician is responsible for performing EEG tests when requested by a physician.
• As part of the testing process, an EEG Technician will gather a patient's medical history, explain testing procedures, and prepare the patient for the procedure.
• During testing, the EEG Technician monitors the patient's status and notes any abnormalities.
• After testing is complete, the EEG Technician reports their findings to the patient's doctor for further analysis.
