Overview

Physical Therapy Assistant, PTA - Essex County-Livingston, NJ - Home Setting. This PRN role at Sobe Rehab provides at-home therapy services in Assisted Living Facilities and private homes for a geriatric clientele. The aim is to deliver proactive, preventative geriatric therapy that supports aging in place and patient independence.

We emphasize transparency with the therapy team, collaborative use of clinical judgment, and a flexible schedule with patient assignments. Compensation is competitive.

• Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner.
• Provide skilled interventions to improve patient functional independence.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and other health care team members.
• Maintain timely, thorough documentation of services in the medical record.

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with an Associate in Physical Therapy.
• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  Two years (preferred) of clinical experience in respective fields of study.
• Actively Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
