The SOX function plays a critical role in ensuring the company maintains an effective internal control environment over financial reporting (ICFR). The team partners closely with Finance, Operations, IT, and Legal to drive compliance, strengthen processes, and support the company’s growth and transformation.

The Director of SOX – Business Process will lead the end‑to‑end SOX program, overseeing control design, testing, remediation, and continuous improvement across business processes. Reporting to the Senior Director of SOX, you will guide both internal teams and co‑sourced partners, collaborate deeply with process owners, and shape the maturity of our internal control environment. This role is highly cross‑functional and offers the opportunity to build scalable processes, drive automation, and influence the company’s control landscape as we grow.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; CPA, CIA, or CISA strongly preferred.
• Proven experience designing, implementing and managing SOX compliance programs, ideally in a pre‑IPO and/or newly public high‑growth technology company environment.
• 10 + years of internal and SOX compliance experience, preferably in both Big 4 and an in‑house internal audit/SOX leadership role in a fast‑paced technology company.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing and rapid‑growth environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external auditors and build trust quickly.
• Self‑starter who is results‑driven and possesses a strong sense of urgency in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently navigate deficiency mitigation efforts, ensuring timely and effective remediation.
• Experience refining, optimizing and automating the existing control environment while maintaining compliance.
• Demonstrated history of leading a team of professionals and developing and growing your team through skills development and increasing scope.
• Strong project‑management skills and ability to drive accountability in a cross‑functional environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust.
• Experience working with Audit Board.

The base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
