• Configure and calibrate slitting and rewinding equipment to meet specific production requirements for tension, speed, and blade alignment.
• Execute the loading and unloading of heavy material rolls, utilizing mechanical assistance tools to ensure safe and efficient handling.
• Conduct rigorous quality inspections throughout the production run to identify defects and ensure adherence to strict dimensional standards.
• Perform routine mechanical troubleshooting and minor adjustments to maintain optimal machine uptime and performance.
• Interpret complex work orders to ensure accurate material processing and consistent output quality.
• Maintain precise production documentation and logs to support inventory and quality tracking initiatives.
• Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and cleanliness by strictly following operational protocols and maintenance guidelines.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing, factory, or machine-operating environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measuring tools, specifically tape measures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve minor equipment issues.
• Capacity to stand for extended shifts and perform manual tasks safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.

• Prior hands‑on experience operating slitting, rewinding, or similar converting machinery.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong collaborative skills for working effectively within a production team.
