As the bridge between patients, physicians, and transplant teams, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding patients through the complex journey of kidney transplantation. Pre-Transplant Coordinators provide education and guidance to patients on their journey to receiving a transplant. Your compassion, organization, and clinical expertise will empower patients, ensuring seamless coordination and optimizing outcomes.

Required:
- Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Three to five years of nursing experience required, preferably in-patient acute care hospital-based experience
- Completion of all orientation programs
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification preferred
- Experience in renal dialysis and/or transplantation preferred
- New Jersey Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association Only)
- BLS is not required for a fully remote RN with no in-person patient care
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Require Broadband/DSL internet access at home for on-call responsibilities,
- Must seek and maintain in-depth knowledge of transplant nursing,
- Excellent interpersonal skills,
- Proficiency with computer,
- Day Shift
- Full-Time
- No weekends or overnight
- No major holidays
- No on-call required
Coordinates all aspects of the evaluation/listing process for deceased donor and living donor transplantation for Chronic Kidney Disease patients. Acts as liaison between Cooperman Barnabas and all referring dialysis centers and referring MDs. Ensures continuity of care through effective communication and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team in all areas of the transplant department. Use an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age‑specific needs and provide age‑specific treatment.
100% of job responsibilities are pre‑transplant – no‑time study is required.
