The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Required:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• Basic Life Support BLS from the American Heart Association

• Full-Time

• 7:00AM - 8:00PM
• Every other weekend is required
• Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs

• The Registered Nurse RN organizes and administers individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care
• Supports philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing
• Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies
• Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning
• Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities
