Job OverviewThe Nursing Supervisor represents hospital administration and as such serves as the delegated agent of the hospital administrative team invested with the authority of the same on the assigned shift. Responsible to coordinate, evaluate quality and clinical practice activities throughout the medical center in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO and NJDOH licensing standards.
Qualifications- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
- Prior nursing supervisory or management experience
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
- Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association upon hire
- ACLS from the American Heart Association
- Per Diem
- Schedule will vary depending on department needs
- Responsible to coordinate and evaluate management and clinical practice activities throughout the Medical Center during the off-shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ensure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
