Full-Time. Shift: Day.

• Provides medical care and treatment to neonates in the critical care setting under the direction of a Neonatologist in the NICU and Labor and Delivery Unit.
• Performs physical examinations, documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and interprets laboratory studies, and prescribes appropriate interventions and medications.
• Utilizes Neonatal Nurse Practitioner protocols and nursing care practices for neonates and newborns.
• Discusses cases with Obstetrician and Neonatologist and provides education to patients.

• Minimum 1 year NICU experience as Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent NICU experience.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Registered Professional Nurse with current NJ state license; CDS and DEA as applicable.
• CPR certification, NRP and BLS certification.
• NP Certification required.
• Three to five years of work experience as a professional nurse is preferred.
