Kenyon Noble’s Livingston location is currently hiring for assistant manager positions.

This position is a full 40+ hours per week commitment that includes a full benefits package for qualifying employees with paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, multiple employee discounts & 401(k). Applicants must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check. As an assistant manager you will have a great deal of interaction with customers, employees and management.

Overseeing products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
Communicating with vendor/supplier reps, ordering products and inventory, pricing, merchandising and setting weekly/monthly schedules. As well as any other tasks or duties necessary to maintain the daily function of the store.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Retail Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers utilizing aggressive purchasing and merchandising
  • Coordinate daily customer service operations (staffing, flow of freight, maintenance and purchasing)
  • Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory
  • Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
  • Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
  • Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates
  • Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and resources
  • Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning
  • Handle and resolve complaints from customers
  • Research new products and use information to update the store’s merchandise
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is function-able and presentable
  • Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
  • Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, management or related fields
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task, while delegating tasks effectively & efficiently
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
