POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for the management and marketing activities, developing Sales for a sales region of multiple states for a select customer base to achieve required growth and meet sales objectives, execution of our strategic plan, and annual planning and budgeting. Represent the full line of Inteplast Group products:
The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction. As a Regional Packaging Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, utilizing your exceptional organizational and sales skills. In this role you will establish and attain goals while possessing strong analytical capabilities. We value effective communication and a deep understanding of customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven sales experience as a Regional Packaging Manager
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Sales and marketing:
    Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product innovation, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems.
  • Customer and personal service:
    Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative and management:
    Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
  • At least 5 years of experience in distribution sales, ideally with customers in distribution, janitorial & sanitation supply, facility supply, along with a proven track record of positive customer relationships and sales growth.
  • Other experience in business management and marketing is a plus.
  • Preferred prior experience within the plastics or related industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
  • Ability to speak in front of both small and large groups.
  • Bachelors in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred

  • The candidate may be asked to prepare a presentation to the hiring team

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct sales activities with existing customers and prospect accounts to maintain relationships and increase sales
  • Actively develop prospects and targets, prioritize opportunities and develop strategic supply proposals to gain incremental business
  • Collect market intelligence and customer decision criteria to recommend effective sales proposals
