A hospital in Livingston, Tennessee, is seeking a locum general surgeon for coverage. This assignment involves hospital rounding, admissions, and call coverage with a focus on adult general surgery cases.

Schedule & Call:

• Call coverage with 15-minute response time

• Call Ratio: 2:3

• Assigned patients; may include 1-2 patients per shift

• 2-3 phone consults expected

Patient Care:

• Admissions: 1 per shift

• Facility has 14 beds

• Skills required:
  
  Adult General Surgery, Colonoscopy, Hernia repairs

EMR:
Medhost

• Active Tennessee Medical License - Required

• Fellowship - Preferred

• BLS Certification - Required
